About Us
Established in 1972, Radio Links Communications became the first independent radio company in the UK. Our founder and Managing Director was formerly a Royal Signals radio engineer and later Chief Engineer for Pye Telecom Service in Cambridge.After obtaining the First Licence in the UK allowing the hire of radio equipment, orders were secured from councils, organisers of sporting events and local businesses, a number of which are still customers today. The popularity of the hire market expanded UK wide and using the wealth of knowledge gained, the company rapidly evolved into system sales. During this period Radio Links became appointed Authorised Radio Dealers for all major radio manufacturers.
Our company works to the Quality Management standard BS/EN/ISO 9002 and all products supplied are supported from our Service Department which runs a modern, fully equipped technical workshop.
Due to the demand for a management package of communications for hire, our subsidiary group company, Onsite Communications Ltd was formed in 1986 to concentrate on this area of business. This division has a dedicated SALES department for quality public address systems in the private and public sectors.
Radio Links Video Technologies is the newest addition to our Group of Companies and over recent years has proved successful in supplying CCTV radio solutions and hard wired cameras/systems in all aspects of the ever increasing security market.
