We recommended they upgraded all their handsets to the Motorola SL1600 and SL1400 as well as upgrading their existing repeater to new digital with battery back-up, to keep their radio communications going in case of a power failure.

The Ritz invested in 62 x SL1600 radios, and 4 x SL4000 radio and we installed the new digital repeater using their existing antennas.

Before leaving the site, our engineer made sure staff were fully trained and understood how the new equipment we had provided worked. The Ritz reported no issues with getting to grips with the new equipment and they noticed a significant improvement in the audio quality and reduced dead spots.
