Radio Links Communications Ltd – the first company in the UK licensed to hire out two way radios – is rebranding as MTech Radio Links Communications.
Founded in 1972 in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, Radio Links has spent over 50 years leading the way in communications technology. From our early work with local rowing regattas and golf tournaments, we've become a trusted name in major sporting events across the UK, providing tailored radio and audio-visual solutions, including PA systems and broadcast equipment.
We’re also proud to hold a Royal Warrant, awarded in 2013 and renewed again this year, for supplying and maintaining communications systems at royal residences including Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and Kensington Palace. This prestigious honour is held by fewer than 800 companies worldwide and recognises over two decades of trusted service to the Royal Household.
The rebrand to MTech Radio Links Communications reflects our continued evolution. While our name is changing, our commitment remains the same: delivering outstanding service and innovative solutions that our clients – including the Henley Royal Regatta, Cinch Championships, The NEC Group, John Lewis, Mercedes-Benz and Sainsbury’s – return for year after year.
John Phillips, Managing Director, commented:
“This is more than a name change – it’s a natural step forward. MTech captures our broader capabilities, but Radio Links will always be at the heart of who we are. Our Royal Warrant is a symbol of the standards we uphold, and that won’t change.”
The change aligns with the wider MTech Group identity, uniting over 85 staff across 8 UK and Irish locations, with capabilities spanning radios, AV, CCTV, smart sensors, body-worn cameras and more.
