Our Special Events Team have set up the communications systems for the 2018 Ryder Cup being held in France and are now in place to support the event on site. This major event in the worlds sporting calendar is a job we are proud to own, as Specialist Event suppliers to Ryder Cup Ltd - European Tour since 1981.
Over the last couple of weeks our Special Events Team have been at Le Golf National just outside Paris, and led by our Technical Manager Iain Criddle, have installed and set up multiple Digital Radio Communications Systems to provide perfect two-way radio communications across this large and beautiful course, for Ryder Cup Ltd - European Tour and all contractors and personnel involved.
In addition to the digital two-way radio systems, our engineers have also set up and installed an extensive Public Address Bose sound system on the public stands, to keep the crowds informed with what is happening out and about on the course. They have also been setting up the radio booths in the very busy Media Centre, which is now also up and running nicely.
The Media Interview Systems we have supplied and installed sounds great and the site wide Emergency PA System has been installed and tested out on the course.
Our Special Events Team will remain onsite to provide engineering support for the duration of the event and then spend another week on site removing all equipment for return to Radio Links.
