Our Special Events Team Provide PA System For D-Day Anniversary Celebrations

Our Special Events Team have been working hard at Duxford to provide the Public Address systems that are used to keep the crowds informed and entertained at the recent D-Day 75th Anniversary celebrations.

Radio Links Communications and our Onsite Events division are proud to be part of the recent D-Day 75th Anniversary Celebrations. Our Onsite Event department's Public Address systems installed at Duxford for this prestigeous event, are helping to keep the crowds entertained and updated as more than 30 Douglas DC-3 / C-47 'Dakota' aircraft prepare to take to the skies to recreate their historic flight across the English Channel on D-Day 75 years ago.

The Dakota aircraft will begin by taking off from Duxford airfield, with their route taking them over Colchester, Southend, Maidstone and Eastbourne, before crossing the English Channel to reach Le Havre and then heading to the Normandy drop zone of Sannerville, where hundreds of paratroopers will descend before the planes reach Caen, their final destination.
