Radio Links Receive SafeContractor Accreditation

Radio Links Communications Ltd has been awarded accreditation from Alcumus Safecontractor for the tenth consecutive year for its commitment to achieving excellence in Health & Safety

As a leading supplier of two-way radios in the communications sector specialising in major events within the UK and Europe, health and safety is paramount to our business.

Safecontractor is an SSIP-approved health and safety assessment scheme for contractors who want to demonstrate that they are taking responsibility for their legal health and safety requirements.   Many major clients recognise the scheme and accept the Safecontractor certificate as confirmation of competency and recognises very high standards in health and safety management amongst UK contractors.

Under the safecontractor scheme, businesses undergo a vetting process which examines health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice.

Gemma Archibald, Alcumus SafeContractor Director says:

“The implications of getting health and safety wrong can be catastrophic to both contractors and their customers, by achieving accreditation contractors can be assured that they are doing all that they can to demonstrate they are operating safely on site, and are compliant with the very latest legislation.”

Commenting on the accreditation, Patricia Litchfield, Director said “we are delighted to receive this recognition for the tenth year running for our ongoing commitment to excellent health and safety practices in everything we do.  Health and safety is vital for all areas of our business and we are really pleased our efforts have been recognised once again”.
