Hytera RD985S Repeater Base Station

Designed specifically to provide reliable radio coverage in buildings and large sites, the Hytera RD985S repeater base station radio is a true all-rounder when it comes to enhancing radio communication. As well as DMR trunked radio (Tier III), it also supports use in Hytera XPT and simulcast radio systems. It will also operate in digital or analogue mode to improve the range and coverage of your communication system. These repeaters were developed according to the open ETSI DMR standard and, thanks to their technical features, they are your perfect companion to deliver a professional digital radio network.

RD985S repeaters offer an adjustable transmitting power of up to 50 watts and therefore satisfy the high requirements for modern PMR radio systems. As they are designed to military standards, these repeaters offer consistently high reliability and excellent performance, with test results from independent laboratories showing that the device can be operated for up to 100,000 hours without interference (MTBF).

In digital radio mode, the repeater provides two operating channels on each frequency allocated by Ofcom, is easy to install in a 19” rack or with an optional wall mount bracket and can be expanded as your radio system grows. The repeater can be connected to an IP-based communication network and is capable of working across multiple sites.
