Motorola R7a Handportable Digital Radio

The Motorola R7 Series of two-way digital radios are Motorola’s newest, leading systems radio, designed for the skilled professional who refuses to compromise. Its advanced audio processing ensures that your voice is always understood, while the rugged IP68 construction means that this radio is ready for the toughest of conditions and environments. 

The NEW Motorola Solutions R7 Series of radios includes the R7a, the R7 Standard and the higher tier R7 Premium. The R7 Standard and R7 Premium radios are available in full keypad/display and non-keypad versions.

The R7a version radio shown here, has a basic fixed feature set and cannot be upgrdaded by the addition of feature licence keys at a later date.

The R7 Standard radios (Keypad and Non-Keypad) come supplied with the basic fixed feature set, however, this version radio is capable of being upgrdaded by the addition of optional feature licence keys at a later date.

The R7 Premium radios (Keypad and Non-Keypad) come supplied as a fully featured set straight from the box. 

Value added features for the R7 Series of radios include, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Mandown and Bluetooth® 5.2 connectivity, making connections between radios, data sources, and accessories simple and fast. The modern connectivity provided by these technologies increases bandwidth while minimising power consumption, ensuring your devices last the full shift. With these features enabled, data notifications from video security systems, alerts from gas sensors, text messages from colleagues and much more can be accessed through your radio device.

The R7 radios also have superior receiver sensitivity allowing you to send and receive messages at the edge of radio coverage where other radios may struggle. The R7 radios can be used for simple device-to-device communications in the field while still being compatible with every type of Motorola radio system; whether you have a small single-site installation, a trunked radio system or a large IP site connected network covering entire regions.

Motorola's R7 radios are designed and tested to demanding standards, meaning these radios have no problem accompanying you no matter where or how you work.  Device testing to IP66 and IP68 standards show that R7 radios are completely dust-tight and protected from water immersion up to 2 metres deep for 2 hours, as well as high-pressure water jets from any direction.

Powered by Lithium-Ion cells, Motorola's R7 batteries keep the radio weight and size down while providing long periods between re-charges.
