We Currently Have Three Roles We Are looking To Fulfill.

 


Customer Support Executive

Due to continued expansion within our busy order administration office, we are looking for an additional Customer Support Executive to assist us with the daily running of our busy offices. You will need to be a team player with a confident telephone manner and good written ability, as the role requires communication with both our customers and our suppliers.

You will need to be a well organised, methodical and competent individual who can be relied upon to complete all tasks allocated, correctly and on time.

You need to be unafraid of hard work and willing to learn new skills and processes. Full training will be given, but competent use of most Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams is required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Customer Support Manager by generating repeat business quotations for our radio sales and radio hire services.
  • Assist the Customer Support Manager by progressing repeat business orders for our radio sales and radio hire departments.
  • Follow up quotations raised by the Customer Support team.
  • Raise company purchase orders to fulfil our customers orders.

Main Duties:

  • Use our company order processing system to generate new radio sales quotations and radio hire quotations. Chase quotations through to completion.
  • Use our company order processing system to input new radio sales orders and radio hire contracts. Complete jobs through to dispatch.
  • Place purchase orders on our suppliers and allocate stock to jobs.
  • Apply to Ofcom for radio operating licences.
  • Assist with radio hire processes including liaising with our couriers and arranging hire deliveries and hire collections.
  • General office housekeeping including department filing.

Trainee Sales & Service Engineer:

Due to continued expansion, we have a fantastic job opportunity for an ambitious person to develop a career within our Radio Service/Radio Sales department here at Radio Links Communications Ltd. As a trainee you will be teamed up with a Senior Engineer who will teach you everything you need to know to work towards becoming an engineer in the future. You need to be unafraid of hard work and willing to learn new skills

Full training will be given but some basic insight into the industry would be beneficial.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Service Manager in all areas of the Service Workshop ensuring efficient progress of all service-related repair work.
  • Provide support to the Service Manager with both scheduled and unplanned maintenance of radio equipment and any Radio Sales or Radio Hire tasks required at customer sites throughout the UK.

Main Duties:

  • Programming, service, and test of both Customers’ own equipment sent in for repair as well as the Groups Hire equipment.
  • Prepare quotations for radio repairs and send to customers.
  • Telephone and email liaison with suppliers of spare parts required for radio repairs.
  • Assisting the Service Manager with arranging the calibration of test equipment and ensuring accurate stock control of service spare parts.

A full driving licence is essential for this role.

Events Support Technician/Driver

Due to our rapidly expanding business, we are currently looking to recruit 2 temporary technicians on a 3-month fixed term contract basis. Start date to be beginning of June.

Your role will entail:

  • Attendance at Special Events as required to provide support to Event Engineers in carrying out their duties (installations of PA and two-way radio equipment)
  • Some heavy lifting is involved.
  • Assisting our technical workshops and commissioning of two-way radio equipment, if required.
  • Delivery & collection of equipment to and from customers sites.

It is essential that you have a full driving licence and a positive attitude to customer care. You will also be required to work unsocial hours and weekend work, more so in the summer season. Allowances will be paid for this, and company workwear will be provided.

Please note that holiday restrictions are in place during June and July, due to pressure of event work.
